Chronological events in the career of 2Pac

1991
Release solo album and achieves instant recogniton. The album is 2Pacalypse Now and gives the world two big hits, "Trapped" and "Brenda's Got A Baby". As a member of Digital Underground, he appears on the track, "Same Song", from the album Sons of the P.
 
1992
Decides to use the name 2Pac for rap and Tupac Shakur for his acting career. Co-stars in Ernest Dickerson's movie, Juice and gets critical acclaim.
 
1993
Stars alongside Janet Jackson in Jon Singletion's film Poetic Justice.
 
1994
Thug Life, his second solo album is released.
Second movie role in Above The Rim.
Tupac's sex assault trial opens in New York in November.
November, 1994: Tupac is shot outside a New York City recording studio in what is believed to be an attempted armed robbery.
In December, one day after Tupac is shot, he is acquitted of sodomy and weapons charges. He was, however, convicted of sexually abusing a woman after inviting her to his room.
 
1995
Releases Me Against The World and hits multi-platinum status. In February, Tupac is sentenced in New York to four and a half years is prison for sex abuse charges. In May, while in prison, he marries longtime friend, Keisha Morris. After eight months behind bars, Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight secures bail as Tupac's appeal makes it through the system. Tupac immediately starts work on his fourth album.
 
1996
Records a track with Faith Evans, Biggie Smalls wife, and starts a controversy that some say leads to the East/West Coast rap war. Releases the first tow disk rap CD, All Eyes On Me and it debuts at number one on the Billboard charts selling more than 5 million copies. First single from his fourth album, "How Do You Want It- California Love" goes to the Top 20 on the Pop Charts. Co-stars in Gang Related.
 
Final Days
September 7th, 1996                                      Tupac is shot in Las Vegas after a Mike Tyson fight.
 
Friday, September 13th, 1996
Tupac Amaru Shakur dies.
 
September 22
A funeral is held in New York City where Tupac was born. He has come full circle.
